AURELIUS sells brightONE's consulting business in the Netherlands to a strategic partner

Munich, December 13, 2016 – brightONE Holding BV, a subsidiary of AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA (ISIN: DE000A0JK2A8), is selling brightONE IT Services BV ("brightONE Netherlands"), based in Amersfoort, to CRM Partners Group, which is also based in the Netherlands. brightONE Netherlands is a leading provider of IT services and consulting with 50 employees and annual revenues of around EUR 7 million. The acquisition by CRM Partners will create one of the leading providers of CRM services and consulting in the Netherlands and Benelux. The parties have agreed to keep silent about the purchase price.

AURELIUS had acquired Tieto Deutschland GmbH, Eschborn, and its affiliated operations in the Netherlands, Poland and India from the Finnish Tieto Group on July 1, 2013, and renamed it brightONE. The company has meanwhile been completely reorganized operationally as well as strategically. The customer portfolio for the IT services and consulting activities in the Netherlands was considerably expanded and important partnerships with Microsoft and Liveperson were intensified. This is the next successful sale of a brightONE unit after the sale of the German and Dutch healthcare operations at the beginning of 2014, business unit brightONE Smart Products Solutions also in 2014, and brightONE GmbH in 2016 to strategic partners.

CRM Partners has 180 employees working in the Customer Relationship Management and Customer Engagement segments and maintains branch offices in the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The company is Microsoft Certified Gold, a Microsoft CRM Partner, and a member of the Microsoft Presidents Club.
